3 Projects are Waiting for Your Support to Continue

Loofae Labs

Product principles

Some things in life should be easier.

01
Start with friction
Maybe you know something like this: a small step you repeat every day. Something you wish you did not have to remember. A workaround that has quietly become routine. You may not know what to call the problem—or what the answer should look like. You just know there should be a better way.
02
Only build with real needs
Demand is measured before tooling is ordered. No demand, no project, no quiet pivot into something else.
03
Prototype before promises
We use AI tools to shorten the path from a need to a solution, and verify the prototype in the fastest way.
04
Allow tradeoffs
Thinner means hotter. Cheaper means heavier. We publish which side we chose and what it cost.

Product stages

Every stage a project passes through

Stage status shown below is demo data for Project One.

  1. 01

A Problem Raised by the Community

You can raise or vote for a friction to be seen. “I really can't stand...”

  2. 02

A Prototype Provided by Loofae to be voted

You back a project with $1. If project moves to the next stage, you get exclusive early bird offer.   It is fully refundable if project doesn't reach the '100 backer' threshold.

  3. 03

A Product manufactured by Loofae For You

You pay the balance after launch and the product will be delivered to you in a few days. Notice: Different projects may take varying length of time to develop before launch.

The mechanism

$1 plus 100 verified supporters

One verified person equals one supporter. In the real flow that means one confirmed email address plus one successful $1 payment. Reserving twice does not count twice — the threshold measures people, not payments.

The counter is only incremented after payment is confirmed server-side. Failed and duplicate attempts never appear in the number you see on a product page.

The $1 is not the product price and not an equity investment. It is a refundable signal that you believe that the problem is worth solving.

  1. 01

    Reserve for $1

A refundable $1 reservation records that you want the problem solved. It is a signal, not a pre-order.

  2. 02

100 verified supporters unlock the next stage

At 100 verified supporters we commit engineering time to the next stage and publish the Build notes behind it.

  3. 03

Below 100 means the full $1 is refunded

If the threshold is missed the project is closed, the reasoning is published, and the full $1 goes back.

The $1 is not the product price and not an equity investment. It is a refundable signal that you believe that the problem is worth solving.

Outcomes

Three ways this ends

  • Below 100 at the deadline

The project is canceled. In the real flow the full $1 is refunded to every supporter and a closing note explains what the signal told us.

  • At least 100 at the deadline

The next engineering stage begins. Supporters keep early-access standing and receive the stage plan as a Build note.

  • Threshold reached, project later canceled

Policy to be confirmed before launch. This is a real open question and we are not going to invent an answer for a prototype.

PIONEER MEMBERSHIP

What will You Get after Paying $1?

  • 01  Instant Email Confirmation for the project you support

A working bench unit charging four devices at once, running from a standard wall supply.

  • 02  Building Updates with what changed, why, and the evidence

Thermocouple readings taken across the charging surface over a two-hour continuous run.

  • 03  Co-creation Opportunity

make the product that suits your need.

  • 04  Huge Pioneer Discount

A written record of what the screen added, what it cost, and why it did not survive review.

Communication

What members are told, and how often

  • A Build note whenever something real changes in the hardware, with what changed, why, and the evidence.
  • A status message at every stage transition, including stages that stall or reverse.
  • A notice at the deadline stating whether the threshold was met and what happens next.
  • An occasional member decision, only where a member answer genuinely changes the product.
  • No weekly filler. Marketing email only if you opted in separately.
